We can arrange a private transfer for you and your companions. We use the services of experienced, reliable drivers with quality air-conditioned cars and vans. After your flight, you might not want to bother with looking for a taxi or public transportation to take you to your hotel. When you book a transfer with us, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall so the only thing you need to do is to look for your name. He will then take you to the hotel and help you with your luggage. There will be no surprises when it comes to the price as we charge a fixed rate. You can also book transfers within the city of Prague or for a day trip out of town; please ask for details and pricing.
Škoda Superb and Mercedes Vito (or similar class) vehicles are available with standard equipment, and Volkswagen Transporter and Volkswagen Crafter vans are adapted for wheelchair users. For bigger groups, standard mini-buses can be arranged. We can even arrange transfers in a bus which takes 6 wheelchairs and 27 passengers. The bus has a low floor and is equipped with a retractable ramp.
Accessible Transfers
If you cannot transfer from your wheelchair into a seat, you can book a transfer in an accessible vehicle so that you can remain in your wheelchair, securely fastened, for the duration of the trip. Accessible vans are equipped with Recon electric lifts and have the following capacity:
– Volkswagen Transporter: 2 wheelchairs / 1 wheelchair plus 3 seated passengers
– Volkswagen Crafter: 6 wheelchairs / 4 wheelchairs plus 2 seated passengers / 2 wheelchairs plus 7 seated passengers
Please mind we can not guarantee a driver will speak English, but if you need anything, you can always call Accessible Prague and we will translate.
To ensure availability, we highly recommend booking accessible transfers together with your other travel arrangements.
Meet & greet service
Apart from the driver, you can be greeted by a friendly guide who will accompany you to your hotel and assist you with checking in. On the way the guide will provide you with interesting information and tips on what not to miss during your stay in Prague, all in your native language. You will also receive an information packet including maps of Prague and the transportation system. This service is normally available from 8 AM to 10 PM seven days a week (outside these hours by arrangement).
